Sometimes the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence and it really is! We got up Sunday morning with lots of energy ready to lay some new much needed sod. We headed to Lowes and what did they have? Crappy grass and not much of it. Next stop Home Depot. You guessed it, even crappier grass, Then the mister remembers this place out on 290. Not only do they have sweet looking grass, they have lots of it and the price is less then both the other stores if you buy a pallet. I was tempted to list this place under local flavor because when you walk in the large office it is a taxidermy zoo. I'm not kidding, it's kinda trippy. Outside is also a little bizarre with three white turkeys strutting around. At least I think they were turkeys.Weirdest looking turkeys I have ever seen. Apparently they are also for sale. I passed on purchasing them and wished I had a camera. So if you need grass, head over here for some mighty fine grass and a little entertainment on the side.

Thanks for the tips, needed 9 pallets of St. Augustine for my yard. Went to Don's Grass to check out the grass before ordering. The grass looked great and they had the best prices.So I had Don's Grass install it two days later. Sales people told me to water grass well for next 2-3 weeks for best rooting results. Yard looks great!! Thanks Don's keep up the good work.

While I haven't bought any grass from Don's, I can say that they have the best prices on Crushed Granite and Sandy Loam. Plus, they are an Austin family owned and operated business. Keep up the good work guys!

I was so disappointed when Don's Grass moved from their Brodie Location and I could not find a pumpkin patch quite like theirs,but I was so happy when I found them again. My kids love to go and look at all the pumpkins, mazes, animals, And there favorite the big giant pumpkin. I highly recommend this place for good family fun.

I recently found myself in need of grass for my yard. I called several companies in the phone book and I found that Don's Grass had the best prices and the most friendly people to deal with. They told me ways to cut the cost of doing my yard. I don't understand how some people say Don's sold them dead grass. If they sold dead grass, how have they been able to stay in business over twenty years?

We had just moved into our new house and needed to get sod for our back yard. We called all over town comparing prices and Don's had the best by far.

Because of the great price we were a bit worried about the quality but when they delivered it we were THRILLED.

We took our sons to Don's Grass and Landscaping to pick a perfect pumpkin. They had a huge selection and all different types of pumkins. They had a great maze for the kids to run in, and didn't mind if we took our pumpkin pictures for the year. Great people!

I took my pre-k class to their pumpkin patch and maze... The children talked about it for weeks.. There's a talking jack-o-lantern and the staff is very kid oriented... Running through the maze was great and we came back with some nice pictures of the kids in the maze and with the pumpkins... Thank you, Don's Grass for a great day!

I called Don's Grass for some information on pallets of sod for my backyard. The saleslady was extremely helpful and courteous. She took the time to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the different types of sod they sold and what would work best in my situation. After I placed my order the sod was delivered by a polite, friendly, and helpful driver. I am more than satisfied with my sod and the staff at Don's Grass.
